Which Social API

ChannelCrawler review

The biggest YouTube channel index we review, with sponsorship tracking added on top. It’s the brand-side pick, but the sponsorship features cost extra and their scale is a black box.

The short version

Pick it if

  • You’re a brand or agency looking for YouTube channels to sponsor
  • You want to see which channels a competitor sponsors
  • You need channel data through an API or as a bulk dataset

Skip it if

  • You’re a creator looking for brands to pitch
  • You only want sponsorship data: Starter has none
  • You need to know how many sponsorships it tracks before paying

ChannelCrawler started as a YouTube creator search engine, and that’s still its strength: 35M+ searchable channels with 500 or more subscribers, 40+ filters and email export, drawn from a full database of 200M+. Since 2025 it has added sponsorship tracking: brand profiles, share of voice, a search for channels by sponsorship history, and lookalikes.

It ranks fourth in our sponsorship ranking because the sponsorship half is harder to judge than the search half. Those features need the Power plan, at $195 a month or $117 billed yearly, and ChannelCrawler doesn’t publish how many sponsorships or brands it tracks. The three tools above it are built for creators; for brands, this is the one we’d pick.

Using ChannelCrawler

Signing up

Making a request

Documentation

API access and docs sit at platform.channelcrawler.net, and there’s a help centre at help.channelcrawler.com. Some help articles returned errors when we checked on 29 October 2026.

Verdict

7.4

The YouTube sponsorship tool for brands and agencies. Nobody else here comes close on channel search, its Confirmed and Likely sponsored labels are sensible, and it’s the only one with a public, pay-per-result API. Just budget for Power, because Starter has no sponsorship features, and accept that you can’t check how much sponsorship data it holds before paying. Creators should use SponsorRadar or Sponsorbook instead.

Questions

How much does ChannelCrawler cost?

Starter is $99 a month ($59 billed yearly), Power is $195 a month ($117 billed yearly), and Enterprise starts at $500 a month or $6,000 a year.

Does ChannelCrawler have a free trial?

Yes. Paid plans come with a 7-day free trial, and you can run free searches without a card.

How many YouTube channels does ChannelCrawler have?

35M+ searchable channels with 500 or more subscribers, up from 23M earlier in 2026. ChannelCrawler says its full database holds 200M+, available on request.

How does ChannelCrawler detect sponsorships?

It marks a video Confirmed when the description has a sponsorship disclosure and a brand link, and Likely sponsored when signals like tracking links, promo codes or repeat partnerships suggest one. Organic brand mentions are kept separate. It doesn’t say whether it reads transcripts.

Is ChannelCrawler good for creators looking for sponsors?

Not really. It’s built for brands finding channels, and its contacts are creators’ public emails, not brand decision-makers. Creators should start with SponsorRadar or Sponsorbook.

Yes, a REST API priced per result with no monthly minimum. The rate isn’t published, and access is through platform.channelcrawler.net.
