The short version
Pick it if
- You want to see the sponsor segment and the read behind each result
- You want to pitch brands when they’re buying
- You work in Claude, Codex or Cursor and want sponsorship data there
Skip it if
- You want unmetered contacts for $29
- You want brand and channel totals before you pay
- You’re a brand looking for creators to sponsor
Sponsorbook is a creator-side database of disclosed YouTube brand deals, for creators and talent agencies. It has the best evidence on the creator side: each of its 351K+ sponsored videos links to the exact timestamp of the sponsor segment, with the transcript of the read. Sponsorbook says it combines several signals, including transcripts, descriptions and YouTube’s paid-partnership flag. It’s the only tool here that says it reads that flag.
Its other strength is timing. Brand insights show whether a brand’s spend is rising or falling, and Sponsorbook says they break down the size and niche of the creators it usually sponsors, so you can pitch the right brand while it’s buying. It finds sponsors from who has paid channels like yours, and you can connect your channel for automatic recommendations. Contacts are emails for the right people at each brand, revealed with credits. There’s a free tier, Starter at $29 a month and no commission, and Pro adds a full MCP server for Claude, Codex and Cursor. It ranks second, behind SponsorRadar’s bigger published index.

Using Sponsorbook
Signing up
The free tier needs no card and works as the trial: five searches a day, three brands per search, and no full profiles, lists or contacts. Starter unlocks the full catalogue, profiles, lists and watches. Connecting your YouTube channel is optional; do it and Sponsorbook recommends sponsors automatically. Contacts work by request: you ask for one, then reveal it with a credit once verified details exist.
Making a request
There’s no REST API. The full MCP server is a hosted connector at app.sponsorbook.io/mcp: add it to Claude, Codex or Cursor and there’s nothing to install. It needs a Pro workspace. Its tools find sponsor brands by name, domain, language, recency and volume, pull a brand’s history with video evidence, list creators per brand and overlapping brands, search channels, and handle lists, notes and contact reveals.

Setup is a single connector URL, and the server is listed on Glama. The Chrome extension, “Sponsorbook for YouTube”, is in the Chrome Web Store.
Support
There’s a support page and an email address.
Verdict
Our second pick for creators, and the best for timing your pitch. Every deal comes with the sponsor segment and the transcript of the read, brand insights show who’s spending more, and the MCP server puts all of it inside your AI tools. Start on the free tier. SponsorRadar has the bigger published index and a public methodology, and GetSponsored gives unmetered contacts for the same $29.
