Which Social API

Data365 review

An asynchronous social data API for listening and monitoring teams. It covers more of Instagram, TikTok and X than its ranks suggest, but it’s slow by design, starts at €300 a month and has no YouTube.

The short version

Pick it if

  • You run scheduled social listening or monitoring
  • You want Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook on one fixed monthly bill
  • You need Instagram stories or follower lists from a vendor with named support

Skip it if

  • You need answers in seconds, inside an app
  • You need YouTube
  • You’re spending less than €300 a month

Data365 works differently from every other API we rank. You post an update task, poll it or wait for a callback, then read the result from Data365’s store. The vendor says a task takes one to five minutes. In return you get unusually wide coverage: Instagram stories and highlights, follower and following lists, comments and replies, and hashtag, location and keyword search, with followers, comments and search on TikTok and X too. Auto-update tasks re-run a collection on a schedule.

It ranks last on Instagram, second to last on TikTok and fifth on X because every request is a 1–5 minute task, the entry plan is €300 a month for one network, and there’s no SDK, status page or published legal entity. Across platforms it ranks last, mainly because it has no YouTube. For a listening team that works on a schedule, those matter less than the coverage.

Pricing

Plans are priced in euros and charged by network. Only update tasks use credits; reading results back is free. A post costs 1 credit, a profile 9 (Instagram profiles with posts add 2 credits per post), Instagram stories 10 per profile, and a search 7 plus 1 per result. That makes TikTok or X posts about €0.60 per 1,000 on Basic and profiles about €5.40. Standard costs more per credit than Basic; the extra buys two more networks. Prices exclude VAT.

Using Data365

Signing up

There’s no self-serve sign-up. You ask for the 14-day trial through a contact form or an intro call, and Data365 says the trial has “some security-related limitations”. Paid plans are monthly, by card or wire transfer.

Making a request

Requests go to https://api.data365.co/v1.1 with an access_token query parameter. A POST creates an update task that fetches fresh data from the network. You then GET the task status, or pass a callback_url to be told when it’s done, and a final GET reads the stored copy. Only the POST costs credits. Results come back as JSON in pages of up to 100, with cursor pagination. Tasks still waiting after 7 days are dropped.

Documentation

Better than the marketing implies. Data365 says you get docs after an intro call, but each network has a public ReDoc spec, and there’s a client portal with guides and a credits calculator, plus a public Postman workspace. The changelog is a JavaScript page we couldn’t read, and there’s no status page to check its claimed 99.9% uptime against.

Support

Support is by email with a named support manager, plus onboarding calls. Its reviews are few and uniformly positive: 4.4 from 12 on Trustpilot. One June 2026 reviewer mentioned a learning curve with the task model.

Onboarding callOffered to new customers.

Verdict

7.0

Data365 is a sound choice for one kind of buyer: a social-listening or monitoring team that wants Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook collected on a schedule, on a fixed monthly bill, with stories and follower lists included. For everyone else it’s the wrong shape. Tasks take minutes, there’s no YouTube, profiles cost about €5.40 per 1,000, and the cheapest plan is €300 a month for a single network. Developers should start with ScrapeCreators or Influship. Steady TikTok monitoring is cheaper and faster on EnsembleData, and X is better served by twitterapi.io.

Questions

Does Data365 cover YouTube?

No. It covers Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Reddit, Threads and Pinterest. There’s no YouTube spec, and a G2 reviewer named it as a gap.

How fast is Data365?

Data365 says a task takes one to five minutes. You create the task, then poll it or take a callback before reading the result. That suits scheduled monitoring, not live lookups.

Is Data365’s data live or cached?

Both. A POST fetches fresh data from the network, but you always read the result from Data365’s store, so the data is as fresh as your last update task.

How much does Data365 cost?

Basic is €300 a month for one network and 500,000 credits. Standard is €850 for three networks and 1,000,000 credits. A post costs 1 credit and a profile 9, so profiles work out at about €5.40 per 1,000 on Basic.

Does Data365 have a free trial?

Yes, 14 days with no card, but you have to request it through a contact form or an intro call, and Data365 says it has some security-related limits.

Data365 or EnsembleData?

Data365 if you need Instagram stories, follower lists and X replies collected on a schedule. EnsembleData if TikTok is your main platform and you want instant responses at a lower starting price.
