The best multi-platform scraping APIs of 2026
One API for several social platforms at once.
Researched by Which Social API editorial teamLast reviewed 29 October 2026How we review
Which Social API uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative review methods, based on each provider’s documentation, published pricing and public user reviews. We never accept money in exchange for a higher ranking or a better review. Who runs this site
Every vendor here sells “one API for every platform”. Very few deliver it. Most are deep on one platform and thin on the rest: strong on TikTok and weak on X, or broad on paper with a different schema, price and maintainer for each network.
So this ranking judges two things: how many platforms a vendor covers well, and how alike they behave. That means the same key, the same billing unit, a similar depth of endpoints and the same way of calling them. A vendor that covers four platforms the same way can beat one that covers ten unevenly. Each vendor also appears in the single-platform rankings it competes in.
ScrapeCreators wins clearly. Influship is second as the most consistent: one key, one price per call and transcripts on every platform it covers. Apify and Bright Data follow for very different buyers, and TikHub is the cheapest breadth you can buy, with terms you need to read first.

Before you choose
A logo strip of supported platforms tells you little. Check these before you commit.
- Check depth on each platform you need. A vendor can have 20 TikTok endpoints and three for X. Find the exact endpoint you need on every platform, not just the platform name.
- Know the billing unit. Credits, daily units, records, per-event Actors and per-network plans all price the same request differently. EnsembleData’s units expire daily, and Data365’s entry plan covers one network.
- X is the weak spot almost everywhere. Only TikHub, Data365 and Apify’s third-party Actors offer both X search and follower lists. If X matters most, use our X ranking instead.
- Read the terms, not just the docs. TikHub’s terms let it sell de-identified data derived from your requests, and all its sales are final. Check refund and data-use clauses before you prepay.
Four kinds of multi-platform API
They differ in how you call them and how they charge, which matters more here than in any single-platform ranking.
One-key APIs
One API key and one billing unit across platforms, called synchronously.
- Good for
- Mixing platforms in one product, predictable cost
- Watch for
- Depth varies a lot by platform, and X is usually thin
- Examples
- ScrapeCreators, TikHub, EnsembleData, Influship
Scraper marketplaces
Ready-made scrapers from many authors, run as jobs on one platform.
- Good for
- Depth on every platform, one bill
- Watch for
- Each scraper has its own schema, price and maintainer
- Examples
- Apify
Enterprise scraper platforms
Per-record scrapers plus pre-collected datasets, with async delivery.
- Good for
- Bulk collection, procurement, SLAs
- Watch for
- Fewer endpoints; no follower lists or keyword discovery on some platforms
- Examples
- Bright Data
Async task APIs
You queue a collection task, then read the result from the vendor’s store.
- Good for
- Scheduled monitoring and social listening
- Watch for
- Minutes per task and a monthly commitment
- Examples
- Data365

The providers in detail
1. ScrapeCreators
One key and one price across nearly every platformVisit ScrapeCreatorsout of 10
- Data
- TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit and about 30 more; transcripts on three
- Freshness
- Live on every request, unless you opt into the free cache with cache_max_age
- Plans from
- $47 for 25,000 credits
- Free trial
- 100 free credits, plus up to 7,000 bonus credits
- Billing
- Prepaid credits that never expire
- SDKs
- No language SDKs; OpenAPI spec, CLI and MCP server
ScrapeCreators is the best multi-platform API we’ve reviewed, and on platform count it isn’t close. One API key reaches TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit and around 30 more sources, and most endpoints cost one credit whatever the platform. That is the point of a multi-platform API: you can budget a new platform before you’ve read its docs.
The depth holds up where creator work happens. TikTok gets 27 paths, including followers, search and Shop. Instagram and YouTube both have transcripts, and YouTube adds paid-promotion search and sponsor inference, which is unusual for a scraping API. Credits never expire: $47 buys 25,000 and $497 buys 500,000, which is $0.99 per 1,000.
The weak spots are consistent too. X returns roughly 100 popular tweets per account rather than a timeline, Instagram has no follower lists or live stories, and in October 2026 the company apologised for changing Instagram error responses without notice. None of that changes the verdict. Start here unless X or Instagram follower lists are central to what you’re building.
Good
- More platforms than anyone here, at 1 credit per request on most endpoints whichever platform you call
- Transcripts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, plus extras such as YouTube sponsor inference and creator email lookup
- Credits never expire, and a detailed public changelog spells out the billing impact of each change
Not so good
- X is an afterthought: user tweets returns about 100 of an account’s most popular tweets, not its timeline
- No Instagram follower lists or live stories, and response shapes differ by endpoint
- A small company with no SOC 2, and paid plans now start at $47 since the $10 pack was dropped
2. Influship
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube through one consistent APIVisit Influshipout of 10
- Data
- Instagram (5 endpoints), TikTok (15) and YouTube (6); transcripts on all three
- Freshness
- Live on request, every response timestamped
- Plans from
- $1.80 per 1,000 live calls, pay as you go
- Free trial
- 500 free credits ($5), no card
- Billing
- Pay as you go, billed in arrears
- SDKs
- REST, TypeScript; MCP server and Zapier
This ranking rewards APIs that behave the same way on every platform, and nobody here is more consistent. Influship gives you one key, one REST pattern and one price, $1.80 per 1,000 calls, on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with no per-network plans, per-Actor authors or separate schemas to learn.
It also does the job most cross-platform products need: transcripts on all three platforms, including up to 20 YouTube channel transcripts in one request, and a transcript even when a TikTok video has no captions. TikTok is the deepest, with 15 endpoints covering comments, search and sounds.
It bills like infrastructure: pay after use, no minimum, failed calls free, and 500 free credits without a card, with clear docs, an OpenAPI spec and an MCP server for AI agents. Whatever you spend, you get a direct line to its founders and solutions engineers. It covers Instagram, TikTok and YouTube only, so if you need X, Facebook, LinkedIn or Reddit as well, ScrapeCreators goes wider.
Good
- One key, one price and one way of calling it on every platform: $1.80 per 1,000 calls
- Transcripts on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, including 20 YouTube channel transcripts per request
- Billed after use, failed calls free, with an OpenAPI spec and MCP server
Not so good
- Instagram, TikTok and YouTube only: no X, Facebook, LinkedIn or Reddit
- No Instagram comments, follower lists or search
3. Apify
The deepest coverage per platform, if you’ll vet each scraperVisit Apifyout of 10
- Data
- Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X through separate Actors; followers, comments, search and transcripts
- Freshness
- Live on each run
- Plans from
- Free ($5 credit), then $19 a month
- Free trial
- Free plan with $5 of usage a month
- Billing
- Monthly plan credit, then per result or event by Actor; 10% off annually
- SDKs
- JavaScript/TypeScript and Python clients, CLI, MCP server
Apify gives you the most depth per platform, but it isn’t one API. It’s a marketplace of more than 100,000 Actors, and for social data you’re choosing between scrapers from Apify itself, Clockworks on TikTok, Streamers on YouTube, and API Dojo or kaitoeasyapi on X. Between them they cover nearly everything, including the Instagram and X follower lists that most one-key APIs skip.
That’s also the problem for a multi-platform buyer. Each Actor has its own schema, price and maintainer. Apify’s own Instagram scraper costs $2.30 per 1,000 results on Starter, while API Dojo’s costs $0.49, and add-on events for run starts, transcripts and filters sit on top. You end up running four integrations under one bill.
It still ranks third, because nothing else covers this much with this track record: mature SDKs, webhooks, scheduling and a large, mostly happy user base, though some Trustpilot reviews were rewarded. Pick it if you need depth on every platform and will vet each Actor. Pick ScrapeCreators if you want one schema and one price.
Good
- Covers almost anything on the four main platforms, including Instagram and X follower lists through third-party Actors
- A mature platform: scheduling, webhooks, integrations, up to 256 concurrent runs, and 4.8 on Trustpilot from 817 reviews
- Starter is down to $19 a month, and cheap third-party Actors cost $0.30 to $0.50 per 1,000 results
Not so good
- Little consistency: each platform means different authors, schemas, prices and maintenance
- Add-on events for run starts, transcripts and filters push the real cost above the headline per-result price
- Quality varies. One popular YouTube Actor shows 82% run success over 30 days, and Apify’s own Instagram hashtag Actor rates 3.49
4. Bright Data
Bulk, asynchronous collection under an enterprise contractVisit Bright Dataout of 10
- Data
- Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X at one per-record price, plus datasets; YouTube transcripts
- Freshness
- Live scraper calls; datasets are refreshed monthly (vendor says)
- Plans from
- $1.50 per 1,000 records, pay as you go
- Free trial
- 5,000 free records a month, no card
- Billing
- Pay as you go, or $499 a month (Scale); datasets from $250
- SDKs
- Python SDK, MCP server
Bright Data is the most consistent vendor here, and one of the least deep. Its Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X scrapers all bill the same way, $1.50 per 1,000 records pay as you go and $1.30 on the $499 Scale plan, and all run through the same sync or async flow with webhook or S3 delivery. Records are wide and flat, at 25 to 50 fields each.
The gaps are consistent too. There’s no follower list on any platform, no Instagram hashtag or keyword discovery and no X keyword search. Every call needs a dataset ID, and records that fail because of bad input are still billed. It suits teams that already know which profiles and posts they want, in bulk.
If you’re collecting at volume and need SSO, an SLA and a vendor with a court win against Meta behind it, it’s the safe choice. For discovery across platforms, ScrapeCreators and Apify give you far more endpoints.
Good
- One price on every platform: $1.50 per 1,000 records pay as you go, $1.30 on the $499 Scale plan
- Built for volume: async jobs, webhook or S3 delivery, bulk requests of up to 5,000 URLs, and pre-collected datasets
- Won summary judgment against Meta over logged-off scraping in 2024; X’s case against it ended in a settlement in 2025
Not so good
- Thinner than the specialists: no follower lists on any platform, no Instagram hashtag or keyword search, no X keyword search
- Records that fail because of incorrect input are still billed
- 2026 Trustpilot reviews complain about an AI bot in front of ticket support
5. TikHub
The most endpoints for the least money, if the terms suit youVisit TikHubout of 10
- Data
- About 1,055 endpoints on 16 platforms; Instagram stories and followers, YouTube captions, X search
- Freshness
- Live on every request
- Plans from
- $0.001 a request, $5 minimum top-up
- Free trial
- $0.05 of sign-up credit (about 50 requests)
- Billing
- Prepaid, per request; all sales final
- SDKs
- Python, Java, TypeScript, Go and C++; n8n node, MCP servers
On paper TikHub beats everyone on endpoint count. It documents about 1,055 endpoints across 16 platforms, including Instagram stories and followers, YouTube captions and X search, at $0.001 per request and $0.0005 at high daily volume. With no subscription and a $5 minimum top-up, it’s the cheapest way to try many platforms.
Consistency is where it slips. Many platforms have parallel Web, App V3, V2 and V3 endpoints for the same data, some names are half translated, and per-endpoint prices of $0.001 to $0.01 are only visible once you sign up. Independent reputation is two Trustpilot reviews, and GitHub issues on its Python SDK include payments that weren’t credited and endpoints that stopped returning data.
Then there are the terms. TikHub may sell or license aggregated, de-identified data derived from what its API accesses unless you opt out by email, all sales are final, and its status page returned HTTP 521 when we checked on 29 October 2026. It earns its place for cheap breadth, especially on TikTok and Chinese platforms. We wouldn’t build a client product on it without testing first.
Good
- The longest endpoint list here: 164 for TikTok, 93 for Instagram, 34 for YouTube and 25 for X
- The cheapest way in: $0.001 per request, falling to $0.0005 above 30,000 requests a day, with no subscription
- Covers Instagram stories and follower lists and X search, which several rivals don’t
Not so good
- Its terms let it sell de-identified data derived from your requests unless you opt out by email
- All sales final; refunds only at TikHub’s discretion
- Status page was down (HTTP 521) when we checked; parallel V1, V2 and V3 endpoints and almost no independent reviews
6. EnsembleData
Steady, TikTok-led daily volume on a fixed budgetVisit EnsembleDataout of 10
- Data
- TikTok in depth, plus Instagram, YouTube, X, Threads, Reddit, Twitch and Snapchat; no transcripts
- Freshness
- Live on every request
- Plans from
- $100 a month (Wood, 1,500 units a day)
- Free trial
- 50 units a day free, no card
- Billing
- Monthly subscription; units reset daily and don’t roll over
- SDKs
- Python and Node
EnsembleData is a TikTok API that grew sideways. TikTok gets 20 endpoints, including follower lists, hashtag and keyword search, music and live. Instagram, YouTube, X, Threads, Reddit, Twitch and Snapchat sit behind the same token and the same unit system, and every endpoint documents what it costs.
The breadth thins out fast. Instagram has no follower lists, stories or transcripts, and its hashtag endpoint has disappeared from the docs while the pricing page still lists it. X has three endpoints and no search, and YouTube has no transcripts. Pricing also punishes uneven use: units reset daily, so the $100 Wood plan is 1,500 units a day, not 45,000 a month to spend when you like.
Choose it for steady daily TikTok monitoring with some Instagram and YouTube on the side. If your volume is spiky or your work is mostly Instagram, ScrapeCreators’ never-expiring credits suit you better.
Good
- Real TikTok depth: followers, keyword and hashtag search, music and live, with posts costing cents per 1,000
- Every endpoint documents its unit cost with worked examples, and failed requests caused by internal errors aren’t charged
- Prices unchanged since at least January 2025, and Trustpilot reviewers praise founder-level support
Not so good
- Daily units expire at midnight UTC, so uneven workloads pay for capacity they don’t use
- Instagram is costly per profile ($6.67 per 1,000 on Wood), and its hashtag endpoint has gone from the docs
- X has three endpoints and no search, and the API token goes in the URL
7. Data365
Social listening across Instagram, TikTok, X and FacebookVisit Data365out of 10
- Data
- Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Reddit, Threads and Pinterest; followers, comments and search on the main three
- Freshness
- Fetched when you post an update task (1–5 minutes, vendor says), then read back from Data365’s store
- Plans from
- €300 a month (Basic, one network)
- Free trial
- 14 days, on request
- Billing
- Monthly subscription in euros; credits charged on update tasks only
- SDKs
- None; Postman workspace with Python and JS examples
Data365 is the most uniform API here. Every network works the same way: post an update task, poll it or wait for a callback, then read the result. Credits follow the same rules too, at 1 per post and 9 per profile, and Instagram, TikTok and X all get follower lists, comments and search.
It falls down this ranking for two reasons. It has no YouTube, which rules it out for most creator work. And its plans charge by network: €300 a month covers one, and you need the €850 Standard plan for three. Tasks take one to five minutes by its own account, and there’s no SDK and no status page.
For a social-listening team that wants Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook on a fixed monthly bill, it’s a sound choice with a clean task model. Everyone else should start with ScrapeCreators or Influship.
Good
- The same async task model and credit rules on every network, with follower lists, comments and search on Instagram, TikTok and X
- Covers Facebook, Reddit, Threads and Pinterest, plus Instagram stories and highlights
- Cheap per post once you’re in: €0.60 per 1,000 TikTok or X posts on Basic
Not so good
- No YouTube at all
- €300 a month buys one network; three networks need Standard at €850
- Async only, with tasks taking 1–5 minutes (vendor says), no SDK and no status page
What you get across platforms
Every vendor here returns public profiles and posts. Past that, coverage differs by platform as much as by vendor.
- Profiles and posts
- Everyone
- On every platform each vendor covers. An Instagram change in August 2026 briefly broke view counts at several vendors.
- Comments
- Most
- Most vendors on most platforms. Influship has none on Instagram or YouTube.
- Search and hashtags
- Uneven
- Strong on TikTok almost everywhere. Bright Data has no Instagram or X keyword search, and EnsembleData has no X search.
- Follower lists
- Uneven
- TikHub, Data365 and Apify’s third-party Actors cover Instagram, TikTok and X. ScrapeCreators and EnsembleData do TikTok only. Bright Data and Influship have none.
- Transcripts
- Some
- ScrapeCreators, Apify and Influship on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Bright Data and TikHub on YouTube. EnsembleData and Data365 have none.
- Instagram stories
- Few
- TikHub and Data365 return stories. ScrapeCreators only has highlights.
- X timelines
- Thin
- ScrapeCreators returns about 100 popular tweets per account, and EnsembleData’s aren’t in date order. Influship has no X.
- Audience demographics
- Almost none
- ScrapeCreators sells TikTok audience countries at 26 credits a profile. For more, look at influencer data APIs.
Is multi-platform scraping legal?
Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube all ban automated collection in their terms, and a multi-platform API means trusting one vendor to manage that risk on all of them at once. In the US, courts have held that scraping public pages likely isn’t unauthorised access under computer-misuse law, and in January 2024 a court found that Meta’s terms didn’t bar Bright Data’s logged-off scraping of public Facebook and Instagram data. hiQ, though, still lost to LinkedIn on contract, partly over fake accounts.
Personal data is the bigger issue. Under GDPR, public profiles are still personal data, and the Dutch regulator said in 2024 that scraping by private parties is almost always unlawful unless it’s very targeted. Collect only what you need, and read your vendor’s terms too: TikHub’s let it resell de-identified data derived from your requests.
This is a summary, not legal advice. Our guide to the law goes further.
Why multi-platform APIs break
One vendor across many platforms means many ways to fail. These are the patterns in vendors’ own status pages and changelogs.
Platform changes
Platforms change what they show without warning. When Instagram dropped per-post view counts in August 2026, ScrapeCreators and EnsembleData both logged incidents, and on Apify each Actor depends on its own author for fixes.
IP bans
In July 2026 EnsembleData reported that TikTok had banned a large number of its IPs, taking user info and search down for about six and a half hours.
Contract changes
Vendors change their responses too. ScrapeCreators apologised for unannounced Instagram error changes in October 2026.
Uneven maintenance
Breadth means some endpoints get less care. Apify’s store shows 30-day run success from 82% to 99.9% depending on the Actor, and TikHub’s GitHub issues include endpoints on smaller platforms returning no data.
Questions
What is a multi-platform scraping API?
One provider that returns public data from several social platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X, through one account. Some use one key and one billing unit throughout; others, like Apify, are marketplaces of separate scrapers.
Which is the best multi-platform scraping API?
ScrapeCreators. It covers the most platforms behind one key, charges one credit per request on most endpoints, and its credits never expire. Its weak spots are X and Instagram follower lists.
Which is the cheapest?
TikHub, at $0.001 per request, falling to $0.0005 above 30,000 requests a day, with a $5 minimum top-up. Some endpoints cost up to $0.01, all sales are final, and its terms allow resale of de-identified data. ScrapeCreators works out at $0.99 per 1,000 requests on its $497 pack.
Do any of these cover X well?
Not as well as the X specialists. TikHub, Data365 and Apify’s third-party Actors offer X search and follower lists. ScrapeCreators has search but returns only about 100 popular tweets per account, EnsembleData has three X endpoints and no search, and Influship doesn’t cover X. See our X ranking.
Which ones cover YouTube?
All except Data365. ScrapeCreators, Apify and Bright Data have the deepest YouTube coverage here, including transcripts.
Can providers pay to rank higher?
No. We never accept money in exchange for a higher ranking or a better review.
