Upfluence vs CreatorIQ
Two sales-led, all-in-one influencer platforms aimed at different buyers. Upfluence is built around ecommerce and affiliate sales; CreatorIQ is an enterprise suite for global brands and agencies. CreatorIQ is the bigger, better-reviewed suite for global programmes; Upfluence costs far less and suits Shopify and Amazon brands.

Which Social API uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative review methods, based on each provider’s documentation, published pricing and public user reviews. We never accept money in exchange for a higher ranking or a better review. Who runs this site
The quick answer
If the budget is there, CreatorIQ. It’s the better database: content-first search across up to 12 months of posts from 20M creators (vendor says), seven platforms including Facebook, Snapchat and Twitch, first-party audience data for connected creators, and brand-safety checks through SafeIQ. Its reviews are steadier too: 4.6 on G2 from about 590, while Upfluence sits at 3.0 on Trustpilot, mostly over its contract.
Upfluence wins for ecommerce brands, and on price. G2 lists it from $478 a month for search and contact, against reported CreatorIQ contracts of $30,000 to $59,500 a year. It matches your own Shopify and Klaviyo customers against its creator data, integrates natively with Amazon, and builds in affiliate codes, product shipping and creator payouts. If sales from creators are the goal, it fits better.

Features side by side
If you’re building on the API
Upfluence is the one you can build on. Its API has public, OpenAPI-based docs covering search, profiles, audience, posts, streams, workflows and payments, plus an MCP server. It’s metered in tokens bought through an account manager: one token buys five profiles, for example, but the dollar price of a token isn’t published. Limits are about 20 requests a second or 100 concurrent. Its docs say X post content and blogs are no longer supported.
CreatorIQ’s API is for customers integrating the suite, not for developers buying data. It describes a bi-directional API, MCP and partner integrations with Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and Sprinklr, and its MeasureIQ reporting product includes API access. It has no public docs.

Where each falls short
Upfluence
The 12-month minimum contract is the top complaint: Trustpilot rates it 3.0 from 55 reviews, with 49% one-star, mostly about lock-in, billing and lagging data. It claims 12M+ creators, a fraction of discovery-first rivals, and it has no fake-follower or credibility score we could confirm. X post content and blogs are no longer collected, and every price, including the API’s, is quoted.
CreatorIQ
It’s expensive and slow to start: reported contracts run $30,000 to $59,500 a year, and G2 reviewers report about two months to implement, with “Not Intuitive” and “Learning Curve” the most-cited cons. It isn’t built for finding contact emails, it doesn’t publish how its authenticity checks work, and there’s no trial.
